Glad you had a good time. I was wondering if you had to go through imigration prior to getting off at St Thomas? Do you know if Opal form Jamica is a bartender in in the Pub?

i dont know about Opal from Jamaica, but that one Asian guy that stands at the entrance of the Windjammer and says hey to everyone is still there.

He is introduced on stage as the most popular employee on the Navigator. That is Nestor. (Not sure of the spelling), but everyone knows him.

We just got home and had a great time on the Navigator. Nester is the greeter at the Windjammer and he was the assistant waiter for the table my children and their children were at (right next to ours). He was so funny with the children and they all loved him! We had the best waiter I've ever had on a cruise. Can't pronounce his name but he was great.

The Cruise Director's name is James Andrews and he was really good too.

I'd say this was one of our best cruises. We had 20 in our group and everyone raved about the food and service. They say there were nearly 1000 children on the ship but you'd never know it! Every staff we saw had a smile on their face and if you needed help they did it with a smiling face.

We just got off the same cruise as well. We had a wonderful time..The ship is beautful sparkling clean.. Service was great especially the bartenders I never had an empty glass. We ended up having the same waiter we had on the Voyager a few years ago....Lester a great guy!!! Funny thing is we didnt ask for him..they assigned him to us.. The weather turned out to be perfect... we met some very nice people on the ship.. Didnt do to well in the casino(My middle son Mike lost ALOT) anyone on the boat he was the blonde kid playing blackjack...I love St Marteen.. had a great time there....

The greeter by the windjammer was a hoot.. always woke me up...even Sat morning he was there so even though we were sad to be leaving his see ya later aligator in awhile crockidile put smiles on our faces..

My oldest son just a few miutes ago said lets go to the windjammer and get some grub lol.

But back to reality.... I'm going to book my next one very soon... hopefully fp the liberty in the summer!

The weather was great. The first sea day there was some rain showers but not enough to keep people out of the pools. They'd run inside during a shower and get right back out there after it ended! It was hot and muggy in San Juan and a brief downpour.

The rest of the islands - in the mid-80's. I think it was cooler the last day at sea but we were busy packing and didn't get up on deck. If there was rain that day I didn't see any.

We were on the NOS in May, and kept in touch with the guitarist, Shane Tapper, from the pub, he was on the NOS until mid August and Opal was still there then.

Heres a picture of her

Opal is the best. She was on both of my Navigator sailings. She told me in December of last year that they were trying to move her. She also stated that RCI had a new policy where you could no longer stay on one ship more than two years. I wondered if she moved to the Freedom? She was so funny and took really good care of the guests.

Didn't see her on the Freedom in September

We also just returned from the 11/18-11/25 cruise. It was wonderful!

This was our first cruise on a Voyager class ship, and except for the elevators during "rush hour", it was a fantastic experience.

We really enjoyed our visit with Captain and Mrs. Bang at the Meet & Mingle.

We were shocked by disappointing service the first two nights in the main dining room, so we chose to take advantage of Chops and Portofino, which were delightful experiences.

Navigator is a great ship and we look forward to cruising on her again. We expect to have a different waiter/assistant waiter next time.

We had great service in the main dining room. Our son and daughter and their families had Nester as their assistant waiter and had a ball. I'd say that our waiter was the best waiter we've ever had. We were at the table next to our children and had a different assistant waiter that was very good. Sorry you had to have the table with service not so good.

We went last year on a multi generational cruise(3 generations) with my sisters two kids,8 and 11. The kids absolutely loved the kids klub. It was wonderful all the activities they had for them and they were so happy. But Aunt and Uncle would have like to spent more time with them:)

The common rooms are great, we liked the pub, disco. I was hesitant to go on such a "mega" ship since we don't have kids but they did a great job of keeping kids out of adult only venues. There was room for everyone!

I would go again even if it was just hubby and I

Has the Navigator received the new bedding in the cabins? Also which is the best bar or bartender on the Navigator for getting a good Mojito?

We had the new bedding in our cabin on this cruise. It was very, very comfortable.

We ordered most of our adult beverages in the Metropolis Theater, so can't help you with a bartender's name...
