Skimby Posted December 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Help! We're leaving in 2 weeks on the Valor (eastern), and haven't booked any excursions yet! Can you give us some suggestions, and also recommend an agency other than carnival to book? thanks!

mrdood Posted December 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2006 You will find lots of independents within each one of the port forums, lots of great ideas for going out on your own as well: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
MamaParrotHead Posted December 4, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2006 In Nassau, I'd cab-it to Atlantis, poke around there, maybe hit the beach there. St. Thomas, I'd try to book Godfrey's tour (pop over to the St. Thomas ports of call board here on CC), although I don't know what kind of luck you'll have, being it's so close to your arrival date. St. Martin, I'd cab-it to Orient Beach for a good part of the day, and maybe hit Front St. to shop a bit on the way back to the ship (take a water taxi right from Front St.). Have fun! I'm jealous, we LOVED the Valor. As for agencies, we booked 2 of our excursions for our next cruise (Triumph, Western) through Island Marketing. They come highly recommended by folks on here and have reasonable prices. Hope that helps!
