Need your expertise and thoughts about Honeymoon Beach.

We are looking for a relaxing 3-4 hours on a nice beach (we are not expecting a Magen's or Trunk Bay experience).

Is it truly a 10 minute walk? Soft white sand?

I have read the info at the ***** site but would still like to hear (read) what you have to say.

As always, thanking you in advance for your response.

You are THE best!

Hello Capt,

There is a Honeymoon Beach on St. John and there is one on Water Island.

Since you said 10 minute walk I figure you mean Water Island. Honeymoon isn't a Magens Bay or Trunk Bay so its good you are aware of this. Its a smaller beach, while pretty its not as picturesque as either of those two. It is about 10 minutes from Phillips Landing to Honeymoon, if you walk leisurely, looking at the couple houses you pass, stopping to look at the view it may take you a little longer. Yes the sand is nice sand. Keep in mind you might want to bring some snacks and water with you, there is sometimes a pizza boat that pulls into the bay, sometimes a food vendor by the beach, the deli that is a short walk away is currently doing some renovations - not sure if this would affect your plans but thought I'd mention it.

Enjoy,
