NeptunesGoddess Posted July 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Hello fellow cruisers, My family and I are on the Aug 1st Carnival Inspiration and our itenerary has just changed. We will be in Cozumel on Friday August 6th rather than Thursday August 5th (change your datebook for Kim and her family, Tom!...hehe). We are still planning on Paradise Beach for the day, but the Itenerary change also gives us more time in port now. They have changed our original departure time from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. I am curious to know what to do at night in Cozumel. Any suggestions?

NinaCO Posted July 23, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 23, 2004 Hi. How far is the mini-golf from Paradise Beach? Do we need to choose between PB & golf or is it possible to do both without rushing? We're on Conquest -- scheduled to be in Cozumel 10:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on a Friday. Thanks!
Cozumel_Tom Posted July 23, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 23, 2004 NG...Here's a better one:http://www.cozumelminigolf.com have fun! NinaCo...7.5 hours is plenty of time to do both. The mini-golf is downtown and we are about 8 miles south, in the beach zone! See ya soon!
LHP Posted July 25, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2004 When we go to Cozumel, we usually hit the beach first thing off the ship. After many enjoyable hours, we head into town for a round of putt-putt like you have never experienced before. Ms. Sally really puts the rest of putt-putt courses to shame. Warm sand followed by cool shade and drinks as we master our golfing skills (ha!). There is plenty of time, because it is a short drive to downtown. There are always more taxis then you will ever need to get you where ever you want to go...as quickly as possible. You will even have time to shop after the golf game because you are already right at the stores. Have fun!!! Remember...you can always sleep when you get home!!! Peggy Tuten Posted July 26, 2004 #8 Share Posted July 26, 2004 How late do the stores stay open? I'm going in February and will be in port until 11 PM. The ship doesn't get in until about 1:00pm. Anyone know if you can still do tours to Tulum starting at that hour?
GolfitoJR Posted July 26, 2004 #9 Share Posted July 26, 2004 The stores in Cozumel USUALLY stay open as late as the cruise ships are in town with a few exceptions. Normally, they'll be open till 9-10PM, but will stay open later if there are shoppers still out there. Here at Cozumel mini-golf we are open until 11PM, and the temperatures cool off nicely after the sun goes down. Our thanks to Paradise Beach Tom for the advice about other things to do in Cozumel. Paradise Beach is GREAT! :)
