Has or is anyone getting the vaccines the CDC recommends for travelers to Central America, or did anyone take an anti-malarial drug? Just wondering if I am the only one, or if any one has, did you have any side effects? :)

Many years ago when we started traveling we got our diptheria shots (good for 10 years), typhoid (for life), yellow fever, Hepitius A and B.

Whenever we know we ar going to take any tours that will take us into the jungles like in Costa Rica, South America, and places like that, our doctor gives us the maleria pills which you start about 2 weeks before you leave and continue taking for about 3 weeks after the trip. We have taken them several times and neither of us has had a problem.

We also get yearly flu shots and had a pneumonia shot.
