Luggage Storage in San Diego Port?

We will be disembarking in San Diego from Celebrity Infinity Panama Canal crusie on Nov 14. Our flight home is not until 4 pm. Any place to store luggage after we get off ship? Any suggestions on things to do for a few hours near the port? Also, how far is the airport from the port?

dont think that there is anyplace to store the luggage at the cruise terminal-

 

the cruise terminal is about 5-10 minutes away ---i guess you could go to the terminal -check in early --get your boarding passes and then go play tourist for a few hours ---the glasslight (gaslamp) district is really nice in the evening with all the lights etc but you coould walk around there during the day

Thanks for the info - does anyone know if you can renta car at the port for drop-off at the airport?
