CrystalWaters Posted July 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Please make suggestions for shore tours in Cozumel. My husband and I like to snorkel, but we will have snorkeled in Belize, Roatan and Grand Cayman in the days prior to Cozumel. So we were thinking something different. We have been to CanCun before and have seen Tulum, Xel-Ha, and Xcaret. Thanks in advance Crystal:confused:
lory Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Why not try snuba with Mayan Paradise Tours? You'll see a lot more than you would snorkeling. It's really a wonderful way to take snorkeling to the next level. And, you get to spend 4 hours on a catamaran with a really fun group of people. I highly recommend this trip! I'm heading to Cozumel tomorrow and can't wait to snuba again!
ScubaMare Posted July 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Water: Since it sounds like you and your husband are experienced snorkelers, might I recommend Discover Scuba. It's absolutely amazing! We got hooked on diving when we tried it a few years ago and wound up getting our Open Water Certification. The dive shop we've been extremely happy with (Snorkeling, Discover Scuba, PADI OW Certification, Diving -- we've done it all with them) is Eagle Ray Divers. Very nice folks! http://www.eagleraydivers.com/diveSchool.htm Land: If you're tired of the water and want to do a landbased excursion, there are plenty of those. Jungle Dune Buggy Tours, Horseback Riding, etc. We love the Jungle Dune Buggy Tour as opposed to the jeep tours because the dune buggies are so darn much fun. http://www.eagleraydivers.com/TarzanTours.htm Or, you can check out some of the other land tours and other info on Cozumel at Sherri's, the Cozumel Insider, website: http://www.cozumelinsider.com for general Cozumel information and http://www.cozumelinsider.com/tours/ for various tour options. Have a super time!
