? Pak Mail store in FLL

Hi: I read recently on a thread, can't seem to locate which one, that "their luggage arrived at Pack Mail store in FLL."

 

Does anyone happen to have any additional info? An interesting idea - perhaps it is tied in with UPS? Will be sailing on the Constellation end of Jan.

Pak Mail stores are similar to Mail Boxes, etc. Not sure if you have these either. If you are flying with the cruise line, you are covered if your bags are lost. If not, you may as well take the chance of the airlines carrying your bags. Not sure why someone would want to ship their bags in advance though.

Four week cruise w/ temps varying from low 40's to mid 70's and airline luggage limits reduced to two bags max 50 pounds plus one carryon on max 22 pounds.

There is a service that will ship your baggage ahead of time and then arrange to have it shipped at the end of the cruise. It's called cruiseshippers. We're going to use this service on our next crusie. Tight debarking time for us, so just have a small carryon for the airport. Makes sense for us.
