New to RCCL...

Torn between RCCL and NCL, wound up going with NCL because DH wanted to go to Hawaii for Christmas Break with the kids. Cruise was great, but not real thrilled with the Freestyle thing. While DH is still in his pleasant "post-vacation" mood, I would like to talk him into a cruise with RCCL at Christmas time this year. I would like to go to the Carribean. Can anyone recommend a cruise and ship. I was looking at the Southern Carribean ones...any suggestions. Thanks.

I highly recommend the Serenade Southern Caribbean route out of San Juan. Beautiful ship, tons of things to do but not too large a ship, great ports.

Do you know if there's a kid's menu? I noticed a few of the menus for the Portofino restaurant and another one...not sure if the kids will like it...

They have a kid's menu in the main dining room. Neither Portofino's nor Chops have a kid's menu because there is a minimum age of 13 to eat at those restaurants.
