Hampton Inns - Vancouver??

Three couples, we get to Vancouver just before noon, with one night stay before cruise. Is The Hampton Inn Airport/Richmond in a location favorable for our stay?? This Hampton has shuttle from airport to hotel but not to pier.

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown is much more expensive but does not appear to have any shuttle service available? Can someone please advise, will the Hampton Inn Richmond be a suitable location?

This property is located on a fairly busy 4 lane roadway enroute to and from the airport. Sort of isolated from any walking area's..

But is an ok area for a sleep over. It's a fair way from downtown Vancouver of course and the usual things that everyone talks about seeing but.. there are many things todo in the Richmond area if one wishes to check it out.

A hotel shuttle back to the airport gives you the options one always see's here. Limo/Bus/etc. a taxi from here would also be a bit cheaper.

Stayed there once. It's fine.

Thank you for your info, I think we finally all agreed on the Hampton Downtown Vancouver on Robson St. After all this planning and $$$ what is the point of not being where everything is that we want to see. Thanks.

We stayed at the Hampton on Robson a couple of years ago. We sailed from Whittier,Alaska to Vancouver and had one night before our flight.

The hotel was very nice!! The staff were friendly. They helped us set up a taxi for 3:30AM the next morning. (and even had some coffee ready for us)

We walked all the way the Stanley Park and back. I did it in heels. It was quite a ways but a very interesting tour of downtown. Around the corner is a restaurant called Moxies. They make the best bellinis I have ever had.

The taxi from the hotel to the airport was $45.00 for 4 of us and all our luggage.
