Joby Posted January 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2007 Hi, our tour guide has written to say that his van's A/C is broken now. We tour St. Kitts (all day tour--9 hours) in a couple of weeks with our Mom who is 77 and rather frail. Is it a deal breaker to have a vehicle with no A/C? Opinions from those who have toured St Kitts during January? *I have also posted this on the St. Kitts board*
Spender Nui Posted January 17, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2007 Do NOT subject your Mom to a full day in a hot van ... and believe me, it will be hot.
Dancing Gal Posted January 17, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2007 I agree - don't expect your mom to make that tour. It will be HOT, humid and esp. uncomfortable in a van.
Joby Posted January 18, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 18, 2007 Gotcha Spender Nui and Dancing Gal! Thanks for the info. That's kind of what we thought, but thought I would ask here to see what the comments were. We leave in 4 days and now I've got to madly scramble to find another private tour guide for St. Kitts. Appreciate the info!
