OliverTheCat Posted January 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2007 Trying to decide attire to wear on my canapy tour excursion. How hot does it get in Ochos Rios in mid March? I cant remember from my last trip there in March how hot it was. Just trying to decide weather to wear cut off capris, pants or long shorts. snowcamper Posted January 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2007 I just returned from the Star, where we did the canopy tour. I can't comment on how hot it will be (it was 80 for us), but I can tell you that if they get any rain, be sure to wear old shoes! The mud was awful! Depending on how agile you are, capris are fine. I have a bit of arthritis in my knees and had trouble pulling them up as I came in to a platform, so I did scrape an ankle just a bit, nothing serious. Long pants would have protected from that. Shorts, especially very short, are no good - they will ride up under the harness and you will get chaffed. It was great fun, but there were a LOT of stairs (downhill) ( we began to wonder if they would ever end!) The guys running it were excellent, very safety concious. Have fun!
