Blondbomber Posted January 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2007 So any of you just back from your Oosterdam Mexico cruise know when the Cocktails and Dancing hour(s) are? I was wondering if they changed with the new dining set up. We are trying to learn how to dance (a little) before our 3/10/07 cruise so we could participate instead of just watching others dance. By the way some of you are great dancers!
bepsf Posted January 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Just off Noordam w/ similar dining arrangements. Ocean Bar is the place to meet for pre-dinner drinks and dancing - generally the band plays for about an hour before the dinner gong is sounded. BTW - Over 90% of passengers entered the dining room within the first 15 minutes of the Vista Dining Room being opened for Main Seating, so in effect we're back to our two traditional seating times.*
San Diego Cruzer Posted January 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2007 We are just off the Oosterdam. I have keep most of our daily programs and in looking at them in the Crow's Nest (which we really enjoyed) they had music/dancing from around 5pm to 6-6:30 pm and then again later in the evening from 11 or so for about an hour on port days. The Ocean Bar ws from 5-6pm, 7-8pm and 9-Midnight or there abouts. The Explorer lounge also had music, as did the piano bar. The Northern Lights opened about 9pm or so.
