Shopping at St Lucia

In the Castries area, there are 2 shopping areas: the Castries port area and Point Serphine. The Castries port area has local crafts, etc and a market stall building. Point Seraphine has the upscale shops for jewelry, liquor, etc. Not sure which ship you will be on and that may affect where exactly you are docked. We just returned from a RCCL Serenade cruise and we docked at Point Seraphine (directly at the upscale shopping area). In a past cruise on Carnival, we docked at the Castries port side of the harbor and had to take the water taxi (runs frequently and is very inexpensive)over to Point Seraphine. Hope this helps.
