cruiseandstamp Posted February 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2007 On Costa Cruises, they offer a drink special good for 20 juices, cans, or non alchoholic frou frou drinks for a set price. Maybe more like a coupon booklet than a card. Does RC have anything similar? I have never heard of this and would like to know what to ask for. Thanks. cb at sea Posted February 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2007 No, they used to, years ago, but now they only offer the soda plan. You can get juice in the windjammer. It comes in small glasses, but you can have as many as you would like. Pour it into your own container, for later.

mochuck Posted February 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2007 What is the normal price per glass/cup? How many ssodas would you need to drink per day to make this worthwhile?

A can of soda is $1.75, so it makes financial sense if you drink more than three cans per day.

serene56 Posted February 10, 2007 #8 Share Posted February 10, 2007 What about bottled water - not much of a soda drinker - prefer water water is fine to drink off the ship. We take a 24 oz sports bottle and fill it at the buffet during the day.
TonyRic Posted February 10, 2007 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2007 What about bottled water - not much of a soda drinker - prefer water Bottled water is not included in the soda card. Bottled water (if I remember correctly) is 1.75 bot a 20oz (might be 16) bottle and 2.50 for a 32oz.
Merion_Mom Posted February 10, 2007 #10 Share Posted February 10, 2007 What about bottled water - not much of a soda drinker - prefer water The water in the Windjammer or other restaurant facilities on board is fabulous - the system that produces it actually makes purer water than most of what you buy as "bottled water". USUALLY, the water in your cabin is just as pure, but there are occasional problems. Just fill a glass at the WJ and pour it into your own bottles. You will be happy with the quality, I promise. :)

I have seen the big bottles for closer to 4-5 bucks each when heading out to a port.
