Airport in Buenos Aires - EZE

This will be our first trip to South America. We are flying into Buenos Aires EZE airport. Does anyone know how big this airport is? Do you have to go through customs there when you arrive?

 

What location in the airport does hotel transportation usually meet you - in the arrival gate or in baggage claim?

It is like any major international airport. You go through passport control, then pick up baggage and exit customs.

 

People are met just outside customs and there is a pre-paid taxi desk in that area.

Are the signs in English? We are going in June (not cruise related) and don't speak Spanish.

Good question! I don't speak Spanish either and had no problems! The signs must have been in oth English and Spanish, but I don't remember.

I looked through my pictures and do see signs in both languages in Santiago.

Just went through the airport almost one month ago. We do not speak nor read Spanish and had no problems. I couldn't tell you if there were signs in English. Do not worry you will be fine.
