Comfort Inn Airport/cruise Port South (Stirling Road)

I had the Ramada Inn cruise Port booked, but heard many horror stories. Just booked the comfort Inn. Has anyone had any experiences staying here???

I was told to stay away from Sterling Road all together. Booked Sleep Inn, Dania - free shuttle from airport and to cruise port. Also free breakfast - good reviews and a great rate.

Any specifics as why not to stay at the comfort inn on Stirling Road???

Suggest you check user reviews on Trip Adviser.

 

I too had booked this hotel ($58.65/nt for December 2007) and have since cancelled and booked an alternate.

 

I understand from other comments that prostitutes work the property and people have been accosted there. Lots of police calls and, in some cases, the room doors do not lock properly. Immediate area may be a bit dicey.

 

Started a thread (Comfort Inn, Hollywood) a week or two ago ... lots of interesting input there.

I don't know if it is the same motel or not. We are paying $204.00 a night. I also read that they recently had over a million dollars in renovations done. The pictures at least look good...

The Comfort Inn Airport/Cruiseport South IS on Sterling in Hollywood ... it IS the same hotel posters have commented as a dicey bet ... some of the CC posters ARE locals and are familiar with the area.

 

Yep, the photos look fine ... but, again, suggest you check reciews on Trip Adviser.

I think I am going to keep my reservations. I did check out trip advisor. Yes, the reviews were not that good. But the reviews for almost any motel are not that great. I have come to the conclusion that usually the only time someone gives a review of a motel they had a bad experience. You don't usually see someone take the time to place a review when they had a good stay. I'll check out the place and report back here and on trip advisor and let people know what we thought. I'll report weather it's good or bad...
