Air Conditioning On Board?

We just returned from Pride of America and our cabin had new, digitally controlled air conditioning. The restaurants were also air conditioned. You may want to pack a sweatshirt or windbreaker as it might be cool on deck at night when the ship is moving. You will probably want to be on deck when it sails by the volcano.

Hawaii has wonderful breezy tropical climates, but there are parts of the islands with higher elevations and various temperatures depending on what you decide to tour.

On Maui, the H crater (bad spelling, so I won't try!) is at 10,000 feet, so at sunrise, the temps can be quite cool. Some of the areas of the Big Island have varying topography (just like my state of AZ) and the weather can vary on different days in different cities.

There are a bunch of local HI folks on these boards that can probably give more accurate details that this visitor can......
