Food & Drink in Costa Maya

I read everyone saying how good the food and drinks are on the beaches they visit. Since these beaches aren't owned by the cruise lines, how safe is it to drink the frozen drinks and eat the food?

We had Margaritas and ate the food at several places and lived to tell about it:D

we drank frozen and iced drinks, and ate food all day with nary a problem. :)

I ate and drank frozen drinks on down on the beach and had no problems...

Look for the little place on the right side of the street with fresh beer battered shrimp tacos. They were WONDERFUL....

Amen to that...we had those shrimp tacos and they were some of the best food we had all week! Great spices!:D

They usually put enough Tequila in the drinks to take care of any unseen critters thay might ail ya.

Go to cat's meow in Majahaul. the owner was a food safety person. we drank beers and ate great salsa and chips and lunch. Very good staff, very good food. kids had a great time in the sand and water, we got hair braids, massages. a wonderful day.
