Emerald Deck Obstructed view Crown princess

We are in Cabins E 616 and 618 on the Crown--in looking at the deck plans, it looks like there is a lifeboat right there-should we try to get other cabins in between the boats? I want to have a partial view, since we are paying a little more than for an inside.

Most of those you have some view. Not sure about those particular cabins. We upgraded for $25 pp to L103 which is also partially obscurred, but bigger cabins on the two ends.

How does the upgrading work? Do you do that when you check in according to what's left?

Get one in between the smaller life boats and not the big tenders or get one with that iity bitty boat you see on the plans - that is the room we had on the CB and we could see up, down, left and right. The deck plans are pretty accurate.
