Jevey Posted February 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Going on The Dawn in April to Mexico. Anyone know of a good company to go zip lining with please? Convincing hubby to join me is going to be the problem though, would it be safe to go alone along with others from the ship?
mii Posted February 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2007 I thought I read somewhere on the Ports of Call board for Mexican Riviera. Maybe check there. Marilyn
marilynbn Posted March 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2007 A different "Marilyn" here... If you stop in Puerto Vallarta you MUST go to Los veranos canopy tours! They are THE best! Very safe and helpful...lots of fun and I am afraid of heights...what a thrill this was. Go to www.canopytours-vallarta.com have a great time. rolando Posted March 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2007 I agree with the above post suggesting Los Veranos. Excellent!!! We had a blast and they were very dependable. Their longest run was almost a quarter of a mile. Great views and the staff is superb!! And, the last run dumps right at their bar.....what could be better than that!! Have fun
seattlec5 Posted March 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2007 We were just down there last week on the Diamond. We went zip-lining with Vallarta Adventures who is used by Princess if you book through the excursions desk. Excellent time was had by all, the company is very safety conscious but also very fun. The price was about $95 each when done via the ship, and from what we heard from others who booked once at the port, they were spending from $79 to $89 each. In my mind it was worth the extra few dollars to go through the ship and not have to worry about missing the ship if your land tour runs into problems. There were about 8 or 9 runs between the trees, varying from about 75 meters to over 600 meters long. There were a few semi acrophobics in the group but once they got through the first zip they had a blast.:)
