ala-kat Posted April 7, 2007 #13 Share Posted April 7, 2007 Caribbean Pepper Pot was, hands down, my favorite (served at lunch). It wasn't on your list so I hope they haven't done away with it.
cruisinbanddirectors Posted April 8, 2007 #14 Share Posted April 8, 2007 the lobster bisque is good, but if you have the chance to get it in a supper club (like the Emerald Room on the Glory) it's to die for!

I've not had too many soups on the past cruises but the ones I can remember are: Gumbo Creole French Onion Lobster Bisque Black Bean Soup Vichyssoise Gapzpacho and the Wild Mushroom Soup. I am going to try on our next cruise (upon the recommendation of past cruisers on this board): West Indian Roasted Pumpkin Soup and Strawberry Bisque. Beachgirl6479 Posted May 18, 2007 #20 Share Posted May 18, 2007 Another vote for the Caribbean Pepper Pot. Great mix of flavors. I am looking forward to trying the pumpkin soup as well as the Strawberry Bisque. Both sound heavenly!
Cotton Posted May 18, 2007 #21 Share Posted May 18, 2007 I enjoy the strawberry bisque, but have asked for it as dessert instead of at the start of the meal. I like the gazpacho, pepperpot, and vicchyssoise. The gumbo is definitely not one of my faves.....since I'm a retired chef from N.O., and it doesn't taste anything like what I was raised on.:D

kyrisong1 Posted December 6, 2007 #25 Share Posted December 6, 2007 My favorite in the main dining room is Roasted Pumpkin The lobster bisque in the specialty restaurant ruined me for any other lobster bisque, I could eat this every day and not get tired of it, it was the best soup I've EVER had. Cheers, Carole
