quick berth/bunk question

shod

This may sound silly but for those who had a bunk/berth in their cabin: do you recall the mattress being removable? I don't feel comfortable with my toddler sleeping up there and would like to remove the mattress and have him sleep on the floor....

I'm pretty sure it is removable but I hope you have help getting it back up each morning! It looked like a regular twin mattress to me.

Maybe it would be easier to bring one of those inflatable beds. I have several and they are quite comfortable and inflate and deflate quickly. The twin or full size would easily fit into a suitcase or could be carried on in it's own pouch.

Those aero beds are great, easy to inflate and deflate and will fit easily under the bed when deflated... THERE is NO WAY I would let my toddler sleep up there....Heck she is 8 and there is still NO WAY....even if she weren't a thrasher...which she is.
