mjbelen Posted March 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2007 I am sailing on the Liberty in September and I very much wanted to be at Diamond status before I sail. I have 8 completed cruises as of now. A friend of mine finally agreed (after about 18 years of begging) to take a cruise with me, and we are sailing on the Enchantment in April. I would still be one cruise short, but some new friends I have made on these boards offered to sail on a weekend cruise with me in May, so that I can achieve Diamond status before sailing on the Liberty. I am very grateful to them and I am very excited about my upcoming cruises. I have made several good friends from posting on these boards, and it looks like I just made a few more. keasc Posted March 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Did you book a balcony for your Liberty cruise? If so don't forget to call C&A before you sail to get that $200.00 discount for being diamond. Gotta love those perks.:) I see in your sig that you have cruised on quite a few ships. Which one would you say is your favorite ship?

mjbelen Posted March 9, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Thanks everyone. My favorite ship. That is a hard one. I liked so many ships, and for so many different reasons. The first new ship I was on was the Enchantment during her first year of sailing. I could not get over how beautiful she was. The ships I had sailed on before her, were much older-one was built in 1932. I also felt the same WOW factor when I was on the Navigator. I also liked the Summit and the Millie very much for their refined elegance. The heated pool on both of these ships with the water jets is fabulous. Yet, sometimes on these new mega-ships I don't always feel that I am at sea, the same way I did on the Flavia or on the Seabreeze. Pretty much, I haven't found a ship, I didn't like.
