Questions about SOS

We will be sailing on the SOS on Jan. 2008. Several questions that I have after reading information posted on cruisecritic.

1. Do they have hair dryers or can I bring mine to use?

2. Is internet available on the ship as I have noticed that some people have posted while on a cruise?

3. What are the best food choices on the dining room menu?

There are three SOS's. Which one are you on?

 

 

Yes they have hair dryers, but they aren't very good. I would bring your own if you have long hair.

 

 

Yes they have an internet cafe. It is around 50 cents a minute and the connection is slow. You can also bring a laptop and use it for a fee in your own room.

 

We have always liked just about everything we have ordered in the dining room. :)

There will be one in your cabin. No need to bring your own.

2. Is internet available on the ship as I have noticed that some people have posted while on a cruise?

Yes, there is an internet "cafe" on Deck 4. Basic rates are fifty cents a minute, by the minute, but you can buy "packages of minutes" that reduce the per minute price.

3. What are the best food choices on the dining room menu?

We enjoyed almost everything on the menu. That's the glory of cruising. If you order something that you end up not liking, just ask for something else. Your waiter will be happy to bring it. As a matter of fact, s/he is likely to insist!
