Hi All,

 

I'm new to this thread because my wife and I are getting ready to cruise to Bahamas, St. Thomas/St John, and St Martaan this New Years.

 

So as a birder, I wanted to get your opinions as to binoculars. I have a relatively inexpensive pair of Eagle Optics 8x42 Denalis and an older pair of Minolta 10 x 42 porro prisms. And I've just ordered a pair of Vortex Diamondback 8X42.

 

What do you like and has worked for you?
