Music groups on the Diamond

For you Diamond cruisers. What groups are playing in the Wheelhouse Bar? We are sailing on the March 24th run to Mexico. Thanks in advance. Irv

We were on the Diamond March 10-17, so this is pretty recent info for you.

 

Bands were Phoenix Rising and Pete Nilson Duo. One night there was a "Salute to Jazz Standards" with the musical director, Doug Tann. Also had ballroom dance get togethers. Otherwise, that's about it every night.

 

I have all the patters if you need any other info.

We are on the Diamond tomorrow also. Do they still have the guy that takes requests ands sings in one of the bars...I think it was after dinner.. He sings stuff like, Like Elton, or Sweet baby James, Jim Croce..etc..I really enjoyed him~:rolleyes:

I know there was a piano player in the bar up on deck 7 that over looks the atrium. Heard him playing/singing all the time but never stopped to find out if he was taking requests or not. Seemed like the area was always pretty full with people sitting there and listening.
