Cruise ship caught in cyclone - old footage

this was taken February 14, .2005 - arial video of the cruise ship Voyager getting caught in Cyclone Valentina and pounded by monster waves, many of which smash through the bridge windows. What a way to spend Valentine's Day!

 

this ship was used as a flaoting university, i know there have been other threads on this but someone sent me this and i thought it was intersting.

I've been on several cruises during some hurricanes - one of which tore through the ship, ripped slot machines out of the marble counter-tops, busted through glass panes on stair cases, and turned the lobby into a bowery, but I've never been through a cyclone! WOW!!!

Thats crazy I would be very sick. Im sure that ship was out of service for a few weeks to fix everything and replace everything broken!

Some chance in that weather, best kept for the Caribbean, not the North Sea in Winter, so no idea what you were looking at there. If you don't like it skip it, some will.
