How many ships can dock in Costa Maya

There will be four ships in port the day we arrive. Last November there were three, two parallel with the beach and the other facing the sea. Can you dock more then three there?

I've only seen three there, but I'd guess they could put a smaller ship or two on the main pier, tho' I'm only guessing!:rolleyes: :p

 

Anyone know for sure??

When we were riding to Chacchoben with Ivan last month, he told us that Costa Maya has been designed to handle 5 ships in a day (I have no idea how they would dock 5), but the area's infrastructure really can't handle more than 3 in a day - they tend to run low on gas and food with that many people in port.

I have checked the calendar, that is why I am asking. The calendar shows four the day we dock but when we were there in November there were three ships docked and I don't see where they can dock another one. I have never heard of anyone tendering there. :p
