OldCodger73 Posted April 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2007 How does one do the luggage-drop off when parking at Seattle’s Pier 30? Is it like Canada Place in Vancouver where you drop-off the luggage before proceeding to parking? Thanks.

I haven't been to Canada Place, so I can't compare, but Terminal 30 has an uncomplicated set-up, and the parking at the Terminal is all outdoors. You can drop off passengers and luggage before parking your vehicle. In fact, I would recommend this. The parking lot is to the north of the Terminal building. Holland America uses the south entrance to the Terminal building, Princess uses an entrance on the north side. It's a fairly low-key process, as I recall. Two of those four times port security required that the owner of the luggage accompany the porter to the luggage scanner and show your ID. The other two times was like the norm, just drop your luggage off with the porter who takes the luggage then get in line. I don't know when you are sailing but I sail one month from today and I'll let you know how it goes this year.
