songanddance Posted April 8, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2007 Now that is what an article on the QE2 World Cruise should read like not that pap put forth in Sunday's paper. Makes one feel like they are right there along side the writer.

travel-to-go Posted April 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2007 I admit to having gone drinking with some of the crew on one of our cruises (From the entertainment staff) on their day off. Wow! Can they put it away! But very discreet on their return to the ship. And then out and about with the passengers on deck at the sailaway later. It was one of our favorite times with great memories. And it doesn't hurt that you feel special having made friends with some of the staff that they would let you into their inner circle. Karie, who could use that drink now! pnhmrk Posted April 8, 2007 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2007 But boy can those guys drink ..... but they were on duty all bright eyed. I've known some members of staff who, whilst they have turned up for duty, have been decidedly the worse for wear:)
