Olympia Voyager and Explorer

The last I heard of these two ships was in March when they were going to be put up for auction. Were they sold?

Olympia Voyager is now named Voyager and is owned by Horizon Navigation Inc. of Miami, with V. Ships Leisure as shipmanagers (a unit of Monaco-based V. Ships.)

 

Olympia Explorer, now named Explorer, is owned by Stella Maritime Ltd. in the Bahamas and has been chartered to Semester-at-Sea for educational cruising as a replacement for the 1958-built Universe Explorer. She will commence service next month, I believe.

 

As far as I know, Voyager is still laid up somewhere

Thankyou Britanis, we had a very enjoyable cruise on Voyager a few years ago, and we were very curious. :)

VOYAGER is being marketed by Iberojet as GRAND VOYAGER, running cruises from Valencia for the Spanish market.
