SandyToes1978 Posted August 28, 2008 #51 Share Posted August 28, 2008 I love kenny too! Just downloaded the new song yesterday and can't stop listening to it....:D I'll be in St. Thomas soon (as long as the storms stay away) and let you know if we are lucky enough to run into him! mpduquaine Posted August 29, 2008 #53 Share Posted August 29, 2008 He is usually on St Johns in his off season, Nov thru Jan.....He likes his privacy and acts like a local at Woody's In Cruz Bay.......The locals keep his life as norm as possible when on their island. Yes-he is hard to recongnize without his cowboy or baseball cap! ;)
cruzfiend Posted August 29, 2008 Author #54 Share Posted August 29, 2008 Thanks, for the info. We'll be in St. Thomas in January - I'd sure like to see him on St. John's.
C&F Posted August 30, 2008 #55 Share Posted August 30, 2008 You just may catch him at Woody's in January. He is there in the winter months. I decided against going to Indy for the final show. The 11 hour drive could turn into 15-20 hours and we NEED to be at work on Monday, so it would be cutting it too close. I even looked at flights and the prices were astronomical, so we will just try next year. We go to 4 or 5 shows a year as it is, so my wife CAN"T be too disappointed, lol!! cruzfiend Posted August 30, 2008 Author #56 Share Posted August 30, 2008 C & F, I don't know about your wife, but I sure would be disappointed. We went to his concert in May and it was fun. (The sound system wasn't the best - but we had a good time anyway).
Chelsea26 Posted October 27, 2008 #57 Share Posted October 27, 2008 How was the tour on Rumbaba? We are considering this sail and snorkel trip for late November.
waterbugohio Posted October 27, 2008 #58 Share Posted October 27, 2008 So where is Kenny's house actually at?? We are just taking the ferry from St Thomas over to trunk bay on St John's. Will we be close, can we just drive by in a taxi?? How far apart is Trunk Bay and Cinnamin Bay??
waterbugohio Posted October 28, 2008 #59 Share Posted October 28, 2008 No other Kenny fans out there tonight????
cruzfiend Posted October 29, 2008 Author #60 Share Posted October 29, 2008 I'm a big Kenny fan, but I can't answer your question, since I've never been over to Trunk or Cinnamon Bay. I'm hoping to get over there this next cruise.:)
figs Posted October 29, 2008 #61 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Haha....just finished reading through this thread---I was curious 'cause I never thought that famous people lived on St. John. It's so low-key, but I guess that makes sense. I gotta say, though, from what I've read on this thread, I'm happy I'm not famous. The guy's at his home, which he's taken great care to place on a small island away from the world, but some people semi-stalk him even there. I feel bad for the man. :P
cruzfiend Posted October 30, 2008 Author #62 Share Posted October 30, 2008 I do too, for anyone famous. (But, I'd still like to have a beer w/him:p )
138east Posted October 30, 2008 #63 Share Posted October 30, 2008 Well, my curiosity was piqued by this thread. I had to look him up on Google to find out who he is. He has no worries from me trying to find him on St. Thomas!
Laserjock Posted October 30, 2008 #64 Share Posted October 30, 2008 Well, not sure how many homes Kenny has, but here is a picture of a huge home and ranch he has here in the Nashville area.
gotta_cruise_again Posted November 11, 2008 #65 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Hi there, Our cruise goes to St Croix. How far would that be to go to St John to see Kenny?? haha I'm sure we won't see him but would like to see St John anyway. Is it possible to do that in a day at port? Or is it better to stay on St Croix?? Thanks!
