Arrival Time in Port???

Recommended Posts

I saw someone list something similiar in a different area but thought I would turn to my fellow Carnival travelers for an answer!!!

IS THE TIME CARNIVAL LISTS, ON OUR ITINERARIES, THE TIME THE SHIP SHOULD DOCK OR WHEN WE MIGHT ACTUALLY EXPECT TO GET OFF AT THAT PORT? ON THE OTHER THREAD, MANY PEOPLE SPOKE OF CUSTOMS/RED TAPE TAKING 30 MINS-2HRS TO DEAL WITH...? WOULD THIS MEAN THAT IF A PORT IS LISTED AS 10AM I WOULDN'T BE GETTING OFF THE SHIP UNTIL NOON? THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT?!?

Thanks for your help, guys,

Jennifer

Time shown is EXPECTED TIME OF ARRIVAL (ETA) in port.

In ports-of-call, NO WAY will it take 2 hours to go ashore!!! Usually it is just a matter of minutes until

the ship receives clearance from the local authorities. If the ship is tendering, it may take a bit longer.

When returning home to the good old USA, that can be a different story.

Happy cruising everyone :)
