pegsue Posted May 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Does any one know how many hangers are in your closet? Thank you in advance
pms4104 Posted May 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2007 Never counted them. Sometimes we hang more than one item together ... and I believe you can ask your cabin steward to bring more if you don't seem to have enough.
ggprincess2004 Posted May 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2007 My answer would be - no matter how many, not enough. I pack the wire hangers that I wind up collecting from the dry cleaner, and plan to leave them behind. Makes space for shopping......:)
05mak05 Posted May 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2007 I also pack wire hangers plus clothes pins. I've never asked for extra hangers. I've wanted to post and ask if they brought wire or wood when extras were requested but that seems like such a dumb question. I hate trying to get the wood hangers in those little holes. Ha! PhoenixCruiser Posted May 4, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 4, 2007 If you need extra your cabin steward will find some for you. ###
Happy ks Posted May 4, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2007 I know there are never enough provided. BTW, I've been on a few ships tours and walked through some hallways where the stewards are still clearing the cabins. Those wire hangers that everyone leaves behind are just thrown into the trash, it doesn't appear they are taking the time to save them. We pack a lot of our things already on hangers, then into the garment bag or suiter section of the suitcase. Instead of wadding them up into a pile of laundry, we re-hang them towards the back of the closet, then re-pack them exactly how we packed to leave home. It makes re-packing so much easier, no stuffed to the gills suitcases. Then, we can recycle our wire hangers for the next trip.
