mprucha Posted May 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2007 I never had but my son who's 20 loves to. He does it anytime the ocean isn't rough enough where it's too pitchy or windy. GO FOR IT!! We do sleep with the balcony door open though!

BRLady31 Posted May 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2007 My 30 year old nephew did a couple of years ago for every night (except the last) of a seven night cruise. He was sharing a cabin with his sister, BIL and niece, a little too crowed for him so he took his mattress off the top bunk and put it out on the balcony and slept on it(until the room steward came in on the last day of the cruise and realized what he was doing and told him he couldn't do that any more!) He loved sleeping out there and we had the extended balconies on the Pride so there was enough room to do it!

flynrph Posted May 22, 2007 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2007 I frequently leave the balcony door open and have the fresh air at night. Mind you this is usually in January in the Caribbean. My 21 yr old son loves to sleep out on the balcony. It's a cruise. Live a little!
