Faithfulcruiser10 Posted June 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2007 I'm going on a cruise this July with my family and some of our family from Denmark. My cousin is turning 16 on the cruise and this is his first cruise and the first time i meet him and his sister. I wanted to do something for him for his birthday. My mom already suggested that my sister and I learn and sing "Happy Birthday" in Danish. Any other suggestions for my cousin's birthday? P.S. remember: english is his second language and he is a 16 y.o. boy, and we r going to be in bermuda on his birthday Thanks, Faith
regnig Posted June 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2007 Faith how lucky he is to have a cousin that wants to make the day special for him. I think your Mom's idea is great, what a treat for him if you learn his language to help celebrate "his" day. Maybe you and your sister could put together a small picture album with pictures of his family on this side of the pond. That would be something he could share with his sister too. Have your Mom make certain Princess is aware of his birthday and request that they decorate his cabin door with balloons. You could even bring some door decorations of you own to decorate with. He'll get a special Birthday cake at dinner and some of the staff will sing Happy Birthday (in English) to him. If he's anything like typical American 16 year olders he might not want too much of a fuss but I sure bet he will appreciate your efforts on his behalf. Have a great cruise.
