Brahmama Posted June 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2007 But what is the difference (if any) between ship time and local time? In other words, if you have a reservation for 3:00 PM local time, will that coiincide with ship time?

In other words, if you have a reservation for 3:00 PM local time, will that coiincide with ship time? Hard to say for sure. Depends on where the ship is coming from, where it's going to, and apparently the whim of the captain. The safest thing to do is get off the ship in the morning and find out what the local time is. JMills006 Posted June 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Cozumel would be an hour behind ship's time if you're on the Mariner.
waterrats Posted June 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 8, 2007 According to weatherunderground.com, Cozumel time is one hour behind east coast time and ship time. See you on the ship. Joe
vickiw0318 Posted June 8, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Cozumel is on Central Daylight Time. If the Mariner sails from Miami, I would guess that it is on Eastern Daylight Time. Right now, it is 12:01 p.m. EDT and 11:01 a.m. CDT. Here's a website: http://www.timeanddate.com.
vesw01 Posted June 8, 2007 Author #8 Share Posted June 8, 2007 So my reservatioh really isn't until 430p ship time? Then it lasts an hour - we aren't going to be making dinner that night.
