sns101 Posted June 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Hi, I'm considering booking a 3-day cruise on the Sensation out of Port Canaveral. I can get one oceanview room for 4 people (2 adults, 1 teen and 1 preteen), or I can get two separate rooms for $200 more (an oceanview for us, an interior for the kids). Is it really worth $200 more to have separate rooms, or on a 3-day cruise would that money be better spent on more shore activities and mom's bar bill :D? FWIW, the kids are really great and I don't worry about them being in a room by themselves across the hall. It's really a matter of $$. I've been thinking about different cruises so hard that I can think anymore! Any advice/experiences welcome!
shargurl Posted June 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2007 Save the money to spend, it's only a 3 day cruise, imo;)
cuyahoga11 Posted June 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2007 I would not spend more money on another cabin. I would be too busy those 3 days to spend any time in the cabin.
GottaLuvCruising Posted June 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2007 It's a short cruise and just your immediate family. I'd just book one stateroom.

Any advice/experiences welcome! for a 3 day cruise, i say no way. too short. not much time will be spent in there. if it were longer, w/ more sea days, i'd say it wld be worth it. i say save the $ and use it toward the S&S bill. sns101 Posted June 14, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted June 14, 2007 Thanks everyone. That's what I was thinking, but it's nice to know that I'm not totally brain-fried! This is only my second cruise, so I really appreciate all the time you veteran cruisers take to answer questions and give advice.
HeidiHo Posted June 14, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 14, 2007 No, I wouldn't spend the extra money either. For Our Miracle cruise it cost us $200.00 more to get 2 cabins but that was a 7 day cruise. It's not worth it for a 3 day.
