And so the news was announced that Queen Elizabeth 2 - the grand old lady of the seas, is to retire to the sun in 2008.

 

A sad loss to the cruising world and of our favourite ship (what will we do at Christmas!) but at least she will not be lost forever.

 

We have put together a tribute featuring the news clip on News 24 on 18th June 2007.
