Once we ferry over to St. John from St. Thomas, what kind of tours of the island are offered - taxi, bus, open-air jitney? How much can we expect to pay per person? Thanks.

The one we were on was in an open air jitney. Just walk over to where the taxis are parked -- when you get off the pier, their parking area is to your left. Just find a cab driver and ask him/her if they are doing a tour. If they're not, they'll direct you to one of the drivers who is. From what we saw, they seem to take turns taking people on island tours. I forget what we paid, but it wasn't anything we went :eek: over.
