Rare LHT28 Posted April 24, 2009 #26 Share Posted April 24, 2009 The article which I cited was written by Ed Perkins and is dated 04/16/2009. Don't know to what article you are referring. There maybe another one, but this isn't the one nor would it be up to date..:p Re read my message I said the THREAD not the article
Leonid Posted April 24, 2009 #27 Share Posted April 24, 2009 So what is your point? That the thread is two years old is irrelevant. There is now current information that travelers could use. Maybe not you, but certainly others. I bet you're glad Spring has sprung. You need to get out of the house:rolleyes:!

Leonid Posted April 24, 2009 #29 Share Posted April 24, 2009 Yikes  Being down here south of our northern border in the colonies and away from the royalists, don't quite understand your response. calvin81 Posted April 25, 2009 #30 Share Posted April 25, 2009 I have a four digit PIN that begins with a zero and did not have a problem in Europe. Is this from personal experience, or something you have heard about?
Paulchili Posted April 25, 2009 #31 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Having just retutned from several of those countries (all but Egypt and having used my ATM card) I can report that 4 digit pins work. I used to have one starting with a 0 but was told some time ago that it was not a good idea and I changed - no problem since. Visa cards are generally more prevalently accepted in India than MC. Hope that helps.
