it's not a pier issue, it's a RCL issue. They are, at this time, no longer able to deliver any ALCOHOL to RCL ships. They can still do other gift ideas but no alcohol. According to Luis, they are working with RCL to resolve the issues. Any orders already placed will either be refunded or not charged at all for alcohol products.

I knew it couldn't be because of the port. They are doing the same thing Carnival did a few years ago. Except the difference is that Carnival allowed all the current orders to be filled. They just couldn't fill any new orders. And Carnival still allows beer & wine to be delivered.

 

This has been a long time coming. I ordered from wellwishers.com last year for our Freedom cruise in October, and they told me then that they were in talks with RCI and said that it would eventually stop. No surprise here.

when you say ALCOHOL is that rum, vodka etc or does that also include wine? Something needs to be done about this. There are many wines that you just can't get onboard. :(

They did wonderful gift baskets for me for my 40th b-day cruise with my sisters this past Spring. I don't know what I would have done without them! I ordered baskets for the cabins, as a thank you for coming with me, and they did a basket for me for my b-day!!

 

I was so looking forward to using them again next August!!
