Vacple30 Posted July 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2007 Was wondering what line had best sushi? I have had it on Carnival, but wasn't too impressed.
natrixgli Posted January 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Well, having been on RCI Mariner of the Seas the sushi at Jade can technically only be called sushi because of the rice, but they used smoked salmon, and other cooked fish. It was still a tasty snack, though. -n8
nc_growth Posted January 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Enjoyed the suhsi bar on Summitt:) as did most of the Asian staff of the ship that were allowed to eat there.
percy12 Posted February 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2008 The Crown Princess! They serve it at the wine bar. Small extra fee but well worth it.
GeminiA Posted February 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Silk Road in Crystal Serenity, & the non-sushi items in their menu are great too. Our favorite restaurant overall in all our cruises so far.
cruizegurl Posted February 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2008 Just got back from a trip on NCL's Spirit - paid an extra $15 to eat at the Shogun Sushi Bar and was pretty disappointed. The only plus I could find was that it was all-you-can-eat...which really wasn't that much of a plus because I could barely stomach any of it. I had the hamachi and unagi nigiri was lifeless and chewy. The rolls weren't that much better. Skip the sushi and just order off of Shogun's regular menu. becca23 Posted February 27, 2008 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2008 The sushi on the Celebrity Mercury has gotten better on each cruise.
