Anyone on Legend lately - dinner time question.

My son just got off the Glory yesterday and said they missed all of the game show type shows (such as Family Feud) and also the tournaments in the casino because they were all held during late seating dinner. We will be on the legend in a few months and have asked for late seating so we would have more time in the ports. I know everyone has their own opinion on early or late, but I really don't want to miss out on anything and my husband will want to be in some of the casino tournaments. I also understand we can do everything, but aswe are more familiar with Royal Caribbean I would just like to hear a recent Legend cruiser's input on this.

Thanks!

Just off the Legend this morning, we had early seating and after dinner they had the show and bingo which can attend early or late. The slot touraments were in the day staring at noon , with the finals at 3:15pm. The blackjack touraments were at night, with the finals at 11:45pm. They had trivia at 7:30 on two nights which was timed so both early and late diners could play. In short you will not miss out on anything with late seating. Have a great cruise, I did.

Thanks! I was kind of nervous booking a Carnival cruise after several great Royal Caribbean cruises, but I've heard a lot of good things about the Legend so we are really looking forward to it.

I chose the late seating on the Miracle (same itineray that the legend has now and sister ship of the legend). I DID notice that we missed out on alot of the game show type things they held. My friend wasn't really interested in them anyway but I thought they were a blast on previous trips. I am doing the same itinerary on the Legend in September and I went ahead and chose the late dinner again because I really felt that although I'm missing out on some of the activities I do like, the late dinner times seem to fit better with the port times for my personal preference.
