What do you recommend for a first time cruise?

Well, what does he like to do? Does he like karoke? Bingo? trivia games? There will be plenty for him to do, or if he just wants to relax and do nothing, he can do that too!:D

Basically depends on what he enjoys....

 

I watched Karaoke each night, played in as many trivia games as I could, and tried out "Cornhole" for the first time. (we called it bean bag toss as kids. I guess Cornhole makes it acceptable for adults?!?!? LOL...)

 

Enjoyed a cigar and frosty beverage in the sports bar while I watched Monday Night football.

 

Plenty of other activities, depending on what he enjoys doing.

There are so many things going on, and as a newbie, you will want to try all of them. God, I remember how exhausted we were coming off our first cruise!

 

Just read your daily Capers, and go to anything that suits you! (or him).

 

Or, do nothing!
