San Francisco Bus/Streetcar/Cable Car Day Pass

Does anyone know how much the Day Pass is for use on the bus, streetcar and cable car?

 

Where do you buy it?

 

Can you purchase it when you get on the first mode of transportation for the day?

 

I believe you can use a pass on all the forms of transportation. Right?

The one day pass is also available on board the cable cars.

The say that on-line purchasing is planned, but so far no such luck.

 

A 1 day cable car (MUNI) passport costs $11.00 last time I looked. And as mentioned you can purchase one on a cable car. The passport is good on cable cars and street cars but not on the BART (Rapid Transit) system.
