mrcruzer Posted August 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2007 Hi there, a few questions about the beautiful Emerald Princess: In the sports bar, can anyone confirm there is billiard/pool tables? In addition, teenagers are NOT allowed in the sports bar for billiards/pool, correct? can anyone confirm there is a video arcade near the teen/kid center? pictures maybe? (ive been unable to locate any so far) Are kids allowed to eat outside cafe caribe at the stools near the aft pool? Does she show the extra 500 passengers compared to the grand-class ships? (Specifically, Sapphire or Diamond, as we travelled on Sapphire recently.) Thanks! MC.

bdwyer Posted August 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Let's see where I can help here with info from our voyage on the Emerald in June... 1) The sports bar is actually the Cigar Bar, next to the casino. There was no pool table. 2) I did see some older teenagers (18,19ish) in the bar watching sports one afternoon 3) no info on the video arcade 4) maybe not on the stools, but there are about 8 tables outside of the Cafe Caribe and I saw children eating there (they were sitting with their parents) 5) we were on the Sapphire last year. We actually thought that the Emerald felt less crowded
nomars_girl Posted August 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2007 Not sure about the sports bar. I can confirm that there is definitely a video arcade near the teen center - Deck 17 aft. The ship did not feel crowded to us at all, but I have not sailed any other ships so I can't compare. There was seating outside of Cafe Caribe on the aft deck available for all ages. Are you trying to find places for your kids to hang out, or are you trying to avoid kids?
mrcruzer Posted August 4, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted August 4, 2007 Fair enough. Thank you for your answers! nomars_girl: Trying to find places for the youth in our group to hang. They feel the organized programs are "too childish" and they're too cool. You know the way:rolleyes:
