Draft beer on Destiny

We will be on Destiny in Nov. 07 and my husband is a big fan of tap beer. Is anyone aware of any draft beer on the ship? Any particular bar that might have it.

Im not aware of any myself. The only beer specials I have seen are buckets where I think you pay for 4 and get 5. Good luck.

No draft beer is available on any Carnival Ships I have cruised on...too much hassle.....there are a large variety of canned and bottled beers however.

They had tap bud and hinekin on the Miracle last week. Not both at all bars all the time. I read somwhere [prob. on CC] that during rough water all they get is foam out of a keg 1/2 full.

The Spirit class ships had Bud and Heineken on draft in some of the bars. I can't remember if the Destiny class had draft.

How do you define "large variety"? I'll admit I'm somewhat of a beer snob and drink craft beer almost exclusively... Is there anything other than Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, Miller, Miller Lite, Corona and Heineken? I'm hoping for something ale like 'cause I don't really want to carry a sixpack of IPAs from California to Miami...

Im from Philly so I drink lots of local ales like Yards and Slyfox and I do admit I'm a little spoiled :o when it comes to beer drinking. I was wondering what types of special ales Carnival might offer?

That's actually a pretty good selection of imported beer... I could go a week only drinking Bass, Boddington's and Guinness.

 

Now comes the interesting question - if I want a beer with my supper, will I have to first grab one from a bar/casino and then take it to the dining room?

this price list is much more accurate than the one a poster put up on the miller chill thread. don't know where that list came from, but it didn't even look like a CCL list. a 10 oz mich ultra for $3.00? never saw that on CCL. it was probably the list for another line, though she said she rec'd it from a pvp, not a TA.

speaking of hair of the dog, i was thinkin i wld need that wed, but i didn't. i had apple martinis for the first time tue night -- as shooters. i thought you were supposed to slowly sip a martini.
