I can confirm that Gershwin has left Independence now. He left at Lisbon on the 6th September cruise. Rumour has it that Ricardo Mock is coming down from the diamond lounge to take over although when we were on they just had someone (Karen I think her name was) to fill in for the last few days. Hope this helps perhaps someone on the cruise now can confirm that Ricardo did in fact take over.

Julian is not on Enchantment at this time...he is on holiday/vacation. I am not sure who has replaced him.

Gonzalo Alfaro from Guest Services is taking the spot of Julian

on the Enchantment. Gonzalo will be there until the end of Nov.

Julian reports back to duty on Feb 1st but does not know where.

I was fortunate enough to see his "farewell performance".

Where Julian goes......I will follow.

As of 27 sept Juan Diego is still on the Radiance. he is terrific!!!1 So nice and helpful!

FYI - not sure how up to date the Liberty info is, but in late August Pretty Shamu was the Diamond Concierge.

 

I can confirm as of last week AND the week before, Mario Reyes was the Diamond Concierge on the Liberty. On the week of the 20th, there were about 100 Diamonds/+ onboard. The week of the 27th, there were over 300. We all know about the too many Diamonds/+ problem but I think Mario did a wonderful job both weeks. They added extra seating to the deck area outside and brought in lots more help. Kudo's to helpers Jimmy and Jordy too! I think Mario is a great concierge. :)

I was on the Enchantment for Julian's last sailing. He is my hero!! He told me that there is some talk about he and his new wife going to the Radiance. That's just hearsay, though. But it came from Julian himself.

I had Juan on the Liberty of the Seas. He was wonderful. I do hope that the concierge on the Oasis of the Seas, will be just as curteous.

We are going on the Mariner for the first time in a few weeks. We are staying in a GS and are very excited about having the use of the CL. But we do not know where to find it on the ship. I have heard two different locations. Will they contact us prior to the cruise?

The CL on the Mariner is on Deck 9.....right in between the Aft elevator banks.

 

IF there is need for an Overflow Lounge it will be posted in the letter you will receive from the concierge. This letter will be in your cabin upon embankment. Typically it is on Deck 14... Cloud Nine. The door is monitored, there are two crew working this lounge.

We sailed on the Legend in April and agree that Diego is outstanding. We told him we would be on the Radiance next March and he said he would see us there, but I don't remember when he was leaving for vacation. I assume he would go to the Radiance after that. He told us he was excited about moving to that class of ship but he would miss the Legend as he opened the lounge there and felt like it was his own creation.

Is the news Carlos is leaving the company/NV rumor of fact? Could he be leaving the NV to go back to the EN to take over when Julian is gone? I believe Carlos's wife is still on the EN --- so maybe he's going back there?

Just got off the Nav and Carlos left for Vacation.

He and his wife were onboard and although he has been offered the new Oasis in charge of the 3 concierge lounges onboard he is reluctant to do so as he loves the Navigator so much.

He will be back onboard in December.

Great guy along with his sidekick Michael Solomon.

We just returned from the Voyager last week and Cara Brown is the Concierge.

 

She was wonderful.

Grandeur, Rhapsdoy & Vision do not have CLs, but are "supposed" to get them sometime "soon". the only thing youwould get as D is the extra welcome back event that Plat/D & D+ get. nothing for suite holders other than regular amenities.

We are not a regular cruiser like dimond, but just whant the best.

This is the only vessel sailing when we have the time. it it so that you have nothing extra when you stay in the Royal Suite? What shold we buy to have the little extra that you whant? Is it somthing better than Royal Sute

Just back from Freedom and the current Diamond Lounge concierge is Amit Chattopadhyay. He was outstanding! Said he had been there for a few weeks already. Not sure how long he is due to stay... as I did not ask.
